Unfortunately, I wasn’t on this day trip (had to work), but Lori was, along with her brothers and Cec. They caught Mama Bear and Baby Bear on the side of the road at Waterton Lake National Park. Nice shot.

We live in Lethbridge so Waterton is 80 minutes of driving. Unlike Banff, which has Highway 1 ripped through the middle, Warerton is a dead end, so it tends to be a lot quieter. After living in Toronto for 13 years, soon after moving to Lethbridge we have adopted Waterton as our own personal playground. So please don’t let anyone else know how great it is. We don’t want any more people spoiling the view of the bears, deer, mountain sheep, moose, overweight squirrels and astounding eagles.

Good point Allan. I’ll change the title.
