A quick photo off our ship. This is Hubbard Glacier from a half mile away. Extremely impressive.

Lovely. Did you take a helicopter up one?
Right off the cruise ship. Took us within a half mile
We took Princess cruises up to one and the a chopper onto it. It was one of my favorite experiences.
We’re on celebrity. It’s been a blast. Definitely do it again at some point.
Nice! Did you see any calving?
(And was it as impressive as it sounds?)
Saw some. Have to see what it looks like in a bigger screen. Caught it on my phone. Very loud and huge pieces. Never seen anything like this before.
The Alaska panhandle cruise was my all-time favorite cruise. Glaciers w/calving, whales, and the Canadian Rockies — it amazes me that you can see the highest mountains in Canada from the ocean.
Very different seeing them in this side as opposed to where we live in Calgary. Much higher and straight up from the water. We see foothills etc so not quite as stark and vivid when you see them at home. Almost surreal
Gotta love Hubbard! Our trip there was a beautiful day for viewing. Simply stunning!
Got within half a mile. Ice cooperated nicely.
What an impressive sight!
It was freaking awesome.
Your photo is awesome. We have never made cruises in so North.
