Remembering Raylene Rankin

RayleneRankin4

Back in our slightly younger days back in the town of Martensville, Saskatchewan, this song used to get a big rise out of the semi, mostly and hardly inebriates at town functions.  Sadly, Raylene Rankin passed away on September 30th after a battle with cancer.  Thanks for the memories Raylene.

  1. I loved the Rankin Family growing up! Had their “North Country” album on cassette tape (cassette tape!!!) and literally played it till it fell apart. Nice song choice, my friend.

    1. A group of us used to do an annual houseboat trip in la ronge Saskatchewan. That was a theme song for it. There was hot and cold running beer which lubed up a bunch of us to try a d sing that on the roof of the boat. Great fun and why I picked that one.
