I Know I’m Taking A Breeak BUT….

File this under, Wish I Had Thought Of That.  This video is HOT right now, likely the best wedding proposal ever.

I enjoy travel, sports, music (a dedicated site at http://therealcanadianmusicblog.com/) and anything else that jumps up at me for the moment, which is why I blog. There will be lots of travel posts, pictures and our videos as well as a smattering of sports and humour. I enjoy promoting Canada and am unabashedly a proud Albertan

  1. Such a great video! So happy and fun! But seriously, what happened to the whole break thing? You’ve posted the most videos out of all the people I subscribe to! Not that I want you to take a break…! hah

  2. Hahaha! Love it! I couldn’t understand the “dancing Jews” but then I heard it in the lyrics – I’m guessing it’s “dancing shoes”??
    Great Video.

Lily’s right. We’ve shared some laughs when we considered that your break has been busier than most blogs who do it daily!!!!! hahahah! Believe us when we say that we’re happy you’re sticking around. Another blogger I know just pulled the plug for the summer and it was SO abrupt. It almost sent me into shock! ha! Glad you’re easing us into your summer retirement! haha!

    1. Thanks. Dancing Jews, that is funny. Yep, it is shoes. I have no plans to go dark, just making things easy. In Canada, summer is a religion, don’t waste any of it. I may cut back, but the song of the day is quick and easy and also easy to add features to (check out tomorrows, found a cool thing to add). Then there is the crappy days when you can’t do anything. Then I’ll do 2, 3 4 5 maybe 6 posts and schedule them down the road. Our travels are not time sensitive. I also enjoy finding neat little things such as this post, and they are quick and easy to. On top of it all, I will always be reading and commenting, so basically, me slowing down may actually generate more posts lol.

  3. I don’t know whether to be upset with him for putting every man’s wedding proposal – past and future – to shame, or whether to just admire the fellow for an incredible project and excellent video!

Reminds me a bit of some of Feist’s videos – particularly 1,2,3,4, but really any of her one-cut videos have the same feel to them.

    1. Dave: I did not know about Feist’s 1234. Just checked it — a happy song and video.

Mr. Beans: Nice stuff! I think I had a smile almost as wide as the “sweet pea” in the video.

I Would Love To Hear From You
