Thom Enright, former bass player for the 70’s band “The Young Adults” passed away on February 22 at the age of 59. He succumbed to brain cancer. The Young Adults formed in Rhode Island and were together until 1979, shortly after the song I have attached was released. They reformed for a short time in 1987 to film a documentary called Complex World.
I enjoy travel, sports, music (a dedicated site at http://therealcanadianmusicblog.com/) and anything else that jumps up at me for the moment, which is why I blog. There will be lots of travel posts, pictures and our videos as well as a smattering of sports and humour. I enjoy promoting Canada and am unabashedly a proud Albertan

Wow. Don;t know how I never heard of these guys.
Too late to see them, but thanks for putting them on my radar, John.
Not looking forward to the near future when Tommy Iommi makes an appearance here…
I hear you. Tommy will be a tough one to do, so much of my early music years are tied to him. As for Thom, that song was surprisingly good wasn’t it. Way to much good stuff out there that we will never hear.
But they leave a great legacy. The music is maybe the best thing one can leave behind. This song may be 30 odd years old, but I had forgotten it, assuming I had heard it before. Great tune done by some talented people.

Hi,
59, is way too young to die, that is terrible news.
